Ballcock KSh is intended for fast shutdown and sealing in of stem tubing while drilling for oil or gas and while conducting workover or emergency work. Valve design allows holding pressure in both directions. The ballcock can be mounted over or under the kelly. Dished spring collar ensure reliable tightening. Standard valves are manufactured for working pressure of 70 MPa, custom version could be made to hold higher pressure.

Ballcock mounted under the kelly prevents drilling mud losses during detachment from the drilling stem, also helping to keep the drilling site and surrounds clean. Outer diameter allows the valve to pass through the BOP stack.

Ballcock mounted above the kelly.
Ballcock with the left-hand thread is mounted on the top end of the kelly. The valve in between the kelly and swivel can be used in any moment to shutdown the flow in the stem tubing. Standard set of equipment includes manipulating wrench and a wrench for the valve dismantling. The ballcock is provided with the stem swing lock to improve longevity.

Safety ballcock is intended for mounting in drill pipe or NKT on the floor level to ensure fast shutdown of flow in case of blowout.
